Man Up, Get Fit

Man Up, Get Fit

Enough is enough. It’s time to get on the good foot with fitness. It’s almost time to post up on the beach; and for a lot of us, by the end of February, New Year’s resolutions were looking less and less attractive. Good news, it’s never too late to do something good for yourself. If you fell off a little since you last committed to living healthy and getting fit, rest assured that you aren’t alone and self-forgiveness is allowed here. So man up, take control, and get to work.

Navigating all of the options and information surrounding fitness and living a healthy lifestyle can be daunting but it doesn't have to be. Here’s a little guidance to help you gain your footing and get on your way.Get Your Mind RightFocus! Identify that you really want it. Let go of preconceived ideas and pressure. In other words, if your goal is to be the best looking thing on South Beach for next month’s weekend getaway and you’ve been Netflxin’ and chillin’ like it’s a religion for the last 2 quarters, let go of that. Now! It’s not going to happen. Putting unrealistic pressure on yourself as you attempt to make healthy lifestyle changes will be counterproductive. Strategize And Keep It Real

Come up with a plan. Identify your goals, and target dates. Determine how much time, and resources you have to dedicate to getting to where you want to be. Once you’ve identified these key factors, it’ll be a little easier to navigate the journey.
