Looking for a place to go for a long weekend? Check out a few places that can be budget friendly and full of adventure.

The Finger Lakes, New York

The state of New York has more to offer than NYC. The Finger Lakes is the perfect destination for wine lovers with over 15 wineries. They are known for their impeccable Rieslings.

Daufuskie Island, South Carolina

Once known as the Martha's Vineyard of the South, this car-free historic island is a must see. A short distance from Hilton Head, this island is a part of Gullah culture. You'll find many doors and window frames of the homes are painted light blue. This shade of blue, called "heaven blue," is believed to keep evil spirits away. In addition to learning about Gullah culture, before leaving make sure to take a horseback ride along the beach. You may even spot a bottlenose dolphin or two in the ocean.

North Lake Tahoe, California

If you're all about the outdoors, Lake Tahoe has your name written all over it. Although ski season is over, there are plenty of other activities to do including, bird-watching, hiking, biking and golf. For those of you who like the beach, we recommend checking out the Lake Tahoe Water Trail to enjoy public beaches. For our night owls, try the “Lit Up After Dark” tour to experience the Water Trail after sundown in a clear-bottom kayak.

Wherever you decide to go, don't forget to take Scotch Porter with you. Our travel friendly trial sized versions of your favorite products will fit into your bag whether you are team carry on or team checked bag.
