This product is no different than the other high quality SP products because it softens up a dry beard in no time. I use it in tandem with the leave in conditioner spray in the mornings right after I get out of bed. It brings my beard back to life and it smells great! I'd like for SP to make more scents available in the future - maybe something like an old school barber shop scent - but this one is amazing. It doesn't have much hold like other balms, but it still manages to fix an unruly beard with no frizz. The softening properties are excellent, and it isn't heavy like a lot of products are.
